Lighting Grade Materials for Auto Headlight Molds

Automotive headlight molds require specialized materials that can withstand high temperatures and produce optically clear surfaces. PC (polycarbonate) is the standard for clear lenses, offering excellent impact resistance and optical clarity. PMMA (acrylic) is used for some lens applications where scratch resistance is prioritized. For housings, PBT+GF30 and PC+ABS are common. For connectors, PPA and PPS high-temperature materials are used. Yinzan Technology's chrome-plated cavities achieve SPI A-1 mirror finishes for optimal light transmission.
